Everything we love in Old Havana (even the Vitamin Water that we must acknowledge since it can’t go unnoticed in the lovely shot of the bar….). Some stuffs from the BKLYN DESIGNS show at the waterfront St. Ann’s Warehouse in Dumbo (May 7-9, 2010): 1) Connected tables at the Pratt booth at Bklyn Designs with a base “constantly struggling to get out of its own way”. We think it’s very “crazy straw”. 2) Big up to BK! Uhuru’s Coney Island Line highlights the most nostalgic parts of what is otherwise err- a vagrant-ish part of town. 3) More love for NYC. The Katch Design Company’s Lucky Beam side table has structural I-beams poppin’. 4) “You Look So Beautiful Today” Armoire by Daniel Moyer Design. Why thank you! 5) Camera phone, you’ve done futhurdesign’s skillfully handblown Honeycomb Chandelier no justice. 6) Ms. Wade in Mantis buggy wallpaper design by Grow House Grow makes our skin crawl but received attention nonetheless. 7) Michelle James chandelier- vintage glass patterns are really hot.
Now that you mention it- this horrible office chair complete with plastic casters has me wearing a bit of a frownie face. I need a lounge to turn this frown upside down! (Can totally see the brainstorming for this slogan happening on Mad Men).
