We remember a time when we were able to tick off the teacher by punching in the tiles of the generic drop ceiling that was installed in our junior high school (obviously without a care in the world for aesthetics). Perhaps if our learning environment took a hint from this cool and modern office space we would have spent less time punching holes in things and more time paying attention to nifty diagrams drawn on floor to ceiling chalkboards. No reason why classrooms shouldn’t look a little something like this (aside from the risk of houligans like us swinging around on those shelves back there…and maybe playing hot potato with found objects placed just so). In any case, we’re talking inspiration. Classrooms-get inspired. (via bldgspace via farm3.static.flickr.com)
